Rescue Story
BERTA was discovered in a half-ruined, abandoned village in the war-torn Donbass region of Eastern Ukraine. As the Russian army advanced, many people fled, leaving behind their homes and, heartbreakingly, their pets. BERTA, along with her puppies, was left to fend for herself in this desolate environment until she was finally found and evacuated. BERTA is one of the many animals affected by the turmoil, and now she seeks a loving home far from the hardships she’s known.
Detailed Information
BERTA is a calm, quiet, and balanced dog who brings a gentle presence to any room. She loves being petted and is good with children and other animals. Her friendly nature is expressed in a soft, unassuming way, never overwhelming but always comforting. She’s calm and composed around other dogs and cats, showing a gentle curiosity without any aggression. BERTA is very human-oriented, with a loving and soft demeanor. She enjoys her walks, is housetrained, and walks well on a lead.
BERTA’s modest joy and gentle nature make her an ideal companion for those looking for a quiet, loving pet. She’s perfect for a family with children, other pets, or even a single person looking for a devoted companion. BERTA doesn’t need a lot of space or activity; she’s content with a warm bed and a loving hand to pet her. Adopting BERTA means giving a peaceful soul a safe and loving home, where she can finally relax and be loved as she deserves.
BERTA is in good health and spayed. She has received all core vaccines and is microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip, and owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate. If you wish to adopt or foster-to-adopt, please fill online Preadoption Questionary
