BOHDAN is a very tender and modest small-size puppy boy, around 7 months old.
He is ready to join the Happy Doggy Bus to the UK but needs a place to call home or a committed foster. Together, we can change the world for this sweet soul.

DOGS: Good with other dogs but not comfortable with large, pushy dogs
CATS: Good with cats
CHILDREN: Prefers dog-savvy kids who can be patient and gentle
Rescue Story:
BOHDAN and his five siblings were discovered by the military in a forest near a combat zone. They were evacuated by fearless volunteers along with many other animals when the Russians advanced.
BOHDAN was just a small puppy when his entire family was rescued in February 2024 from the dangers of shelling, starvation, and severe cold. He is one of the many dogs that our partner rescue in Ukraine took in, promising to give them the best care possible.
Detailed Information:
BOHDAN is shy and needs time to decompress and build trust in a quiet environment. He is affectionate and human-oriented, quickly becoming very loving once he feels safe. He is playful and active but well-balanced, never hyper. He would do well in a home with dog-savvy children who understand the need to let him adjust at his own pace.
BOHDAN gets along with other dogs but may feel intimidated by larger, pushy dogs. He is good with cats. Housetrained. He has started leash training, which will need to be continued.

BOHDAN is fully healthy. Castrated. He has all core vaccines done and is microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
