BULU is a 9-month-old large Labrador cross with a heart full of love and a huge potential for growth. After being surrendered due to his family’s struggles, he briefly went to a foster home but they weren’t prepared for a young hard to calm dog who needed guidance. With no other options available, BULU ended up in kennels—yet, this hasn’t stopped his progress! Thanks to the dedication of experienced carers and trainer there, he’s learning impulse control, good manners, and how to focus his energy.

Now, BULU is waiting for his forever family—someone who will continue his training, provide structure, and, most importantly, love him for the joyful and big-hearted puppy he is.

Rescue Story
BULU’s start was tough. His former family struggled with mental health issues, and they couldn’t care for him any longer. Afterward, he went to a foster home, but less than 24 hours later, the foster family decided they weren’t the right match because he barked at men a few times. Sadly, they gave up on him without giving him the time he needed to settle.

With nowhere else to go, BULU was placed in kennels, where professional trainers have been working with him. After just a few weeks, their assessment confirmed that it’s clear that he is a kind, loving boy with no signs of aggression—his only issue was never being taught proper boundaries. His progress has been fantastic, and he is now ready for a home that will continue to support and teach him through positive reinforcement trainings. He’s dreaming to find a home where he will continue his journey and grow into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be.

Detailed Information
BULU is a big puppy—loving, playful, and full of life. He adores people, loves affection, and is eager to please. He is already toilet trained and sleeps through the night. Like many young dogs, he can get excited and sometimes becomes bouncy or mouthy when overstimulated, but he is responding well to training and learning impulse control.

BULU enjoys playing with other dogs but due to his size and enthusiasm, he may be too much for smaller or quieter dogs. He would thrive best with a confident, playful dog or as the only dog in an experienced home.

We recommend pairing male dogs with female dogs to prevent potential competition, even if it hasn’t been an issue in the past—prevention is always better than cure.

Ideal Family
BULU needs an active, confident, structured home where he can receive plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He would thrive with an experienced owner who understands young, large-breed active dogs and is willing to continue his training using modern force-free methods. A secure garden would be ideal to allow him to burn off energy.

Because he is still learning good manners, he would be best suited to a home with children aged 12+ who can handle his size and enthusiasm.
