EMI is currently at Foster in UK and that’s what Foster say about her: ” Emi is a playful and energetic puppy of 8 months. She is very loving and once she gets over her shyness with people, she loves nothing more than to have a cuddle on your lap. She is almost housetrained, so expect a few accidents during settlement time, but nothing too severe. Emi would suit a family that is not out of the house too often as she does not like to be alone. She is great with children, but older children who will be considerate of her needs, she may be a bit rough with younger children when playing. She is also good with other dogs, but will need to be fed separately as she can be a greedy guts 🤣 ”
Rescue Story:
EMI’s journey started with heartbreak when she and her sister AIMI were thrown at the shelter gates in the dead of night. So tiny and vulnerable, they had no idea what had happened or why they were suddenly alone. Yet, from that night on, EMI has shown nothing but resilience and spirit. Every cuddle and every kind word helped her grow into the little bundle of joy she is today.
Detailed Information:
EMI is full of life—always curious, playful, and ready to be your constant companion. This little one loves being close, whether it’s for cuddles, kisses, or just tagging along to see what you’re up to. Around other small dogs, EMI can be a bit of a “little boss,” confidently letting them know if they’re too close to her bowl or treats. She can suit as the only pet with possibility to meet and play with new furry friends or can be fine with calm and confident dog, especially if they’re bigger size. While EMI is nearly housetrained, she might still have the occasional nighttime accident, but she’s learning quickly and uses puppy pads.
Despite her tiny size, EMI has an astonishing amount of energy—she jumps with ease, reaching up to a metre high! A secure garden is a must, as she’s quick to squeeze into any small openings her curiosity discovers. But when it comes to daily life, EMI isn’t overly barky; but she enjoys alerting her people to anything unusual and can bark on people and animals behind the fence.
Ideal Home:
EMI is looking for a family that understands the quirks of small dogs and can provide her with lots of love, play, and a secure, safe environment. While she would be happy as a solo dog, a friendly, confident adult bigger dog companion could also suit her well. Families with older, dog-savvy children would be perfect, as EMI adores affection and thrives in a loving home, but she can be mouthy when plays or ask for attention. Due to her petite size and energetic spirit, she needs owners who can offer attention, gentle guidance, and a watchful eye.
Health Information:
EMI is healthy and should be spayed when she’s old enough: after the first season (Spay Agreement applies). She has all core vaccines done and is microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
