Rescue Story
Probably sometime before KIMMI had a loving home. We don’t know how if happen that she gets abandoned and was taken home by a very wrong person. KIMMI and her companion, KIM, were rescued from a life of unimaginable hardship. Taken from the home of a mentally unwell person who lived in squalor, the two dogs had endured months or even years without walks, surviving on scraps from rubbish bins. The flat was filled with filth, some piles of trash reaching the ceiling, and the air was suffocating.

When neighbours finally called the authorities, unable to bear the smell and neglect, the man was taken to a hospital, and KIMMI and Kim were freed from their prison. KIMMI, who had not known a world beyond that flat for very long, was overwhelmed with joy when she felt grass beneath her paws and breathed fresh air for the first time.

At first, KIMMI was wary of humans, her trust shattered by neglect, but her sweet nature shone through. With a little time, she learned to trust again, showing her true gentle and affectionate self. She treasures every walk, every moment of kindness, and every sign that the world can be a beautiful place.

Detailed Information
KIMMI is a calm and polite companion, quick to bond with people once given a chance. She might take a couple of days to warm up, simply observing her surroundings, but once she’s comfortable, her loyalty and affection are unmatched. She gets along well with other dogs, enjoys gentle interactions, and thrives in a peaceful environment.

Though she’s not demanding, KIMMI is deeply grateful for the small joys of life—a walk through the park, a kind word, or simply being near someone she loves. Her quiet, observant nature makes her a perfect companion for someone who values connection over chaos.

KIMMI would do best in a home with older children aged 10 and above, as she needs a bit of patience to decompress and find her footing. She’s not to blame for the neglect she endured, and she deserves a family who will show her how kind and loving life can be.
She gets along well with other dogs but feels uneasy around those who are too pushy, energetic, or large. A calm, small-to-medium canine companion would be ideal, as it would give her the confidence to navigate her new world.

KIMMI is also tolerant and good with cats, making her a versatile addition to many households.

Ideal Family
KIMMI needs a family who understands her and will give her the short time and space to settle at her own pace. She is eager to build trust fast and it will not take long. A true animal lover will find an extraordinary companion in KIMMI. She’s ideal for a quieter home with older children who can respect her need to adjust and decompress. Whether as a solo dog or with canine companions, KIMMI will reward her family’s care with unconditional love and loyalty.

KIMMI’s story is one of hope, and the transformative power of love. She’s waiting for someone who can show her that life isn’t about survival—it’s about joy, companionship, and care. With her calm and gentle nature, she will bring warmth and happiness to the heart of any home.

KIMMI is fully healthy. Spayed. Has all core vaccines done and is microchipped. All dogs are C. Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate). KIMMI needs a proper quality diet and regular walks to shed a few kilos and get back to her ideal shape of around 12-13 kilos.
