Rescue Story:
LIANA’s story is one of resilience and hope. Just before Christmas, she and her six siblings were cruelly abandoned in the depths of winter, left to perish in a field near a motorway. A soulless person threw out the seven puppies, barely a few weeks old, in a cardboard box hidden under a bush. It was pure chance that a kind-hearted driver spotted one of the tiny pups in their car lights. After some frantic searching, all seven crying puppies were found. They had likely only been abandoned a few hours earlier—any longer and they wouldn’t have survived the freezing night without food or warmth. While five of her brothers and sisters have already found loving homes in the UK, LIANA and her sister are still waiting, dreaming of their forever families.

LIANA is a sensitive and tender-hearted girl who can be timid in new surroundings. She needs a quiet home to decompress after the trip and the patience of a loving family to let her come out of her shell at her own pace. She adores the company of other dogs and would thrive in a home with a resident dog to help build her confidence. Currently living at a foster home with a garden, other dogs, and cats, LIANA is proving to be affectionate, well-balanced, and playful but not overly energetic. She enjoys cuddles and gentle strokes once she’s built trust but is not clingy or demanding.
LIANA is cheerful, sweet-natured, and smart. She’s housetrained, loves to learn, and is very food and treat-oriented, making her easy to train. Like all puppies, she’ll need continued training and socialisation to become the best companion she can be.
