🐶 Lizzy’s start in life was marred by cruelty and neglect. When her mother, a Staffordshire Terrier, had an unplanned litter, the owner declared that if someone didn’t take the puppies, they would be killed as soon as they were born. In a desperate attempt to save their lives, the rescue made a promise to take the puppies as soon as possible. Out of five, only Lizzy and her brother Rocky were given to rescue, with no information about other puppies.

🐶 Lizzy is a gentle, loving girl who wants nothing more than to be loved and accepted. She’s wonderful with people, children, other dogs, and even cats. Her sweet, submissive nature makes her an absolute treasure, but also leaves her vulnerable in the shelter environment.
🐶 She’s so timid around food that she waits for everyone else dogs to finish eating before approaching her bowl, fearful of being hurt for trying to eat. She doesn’t know how to defend herself, only how to love and hope for kindness.
🐶 Despite her shy nature, Lizzy is eager to befriend everyone she meets. She wags her tail at every passer-by, longing to be noticed and adored.
