Rescue Story:
LUKAS’s journey began in the devastated town of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, where some of the fiercest battle has left the city in ruins. His family, like many others, fled the destruction, seeking refuge in a safer part of Ukraine. They reached a quiet village in Western Ukraine and rented a house, bringing LUKAS with them from the heart of the war. But after a while, the family left, perhaps heading to Europe, leaving LUKAS behind in the yard of the house. Days passed, and LUKAS waited, faithfully expecting his family to return. But they never did. Thankfully, the landlord found him and called for rescue.

LUKAS is an absolute ray of sunshine! He’s a beautiful, sociable boy who seeks out affection from everyone he meets, always nudging for a gentle scratch behind the ears. His gentle and trustful nature makes him a perfect companion for families who are ready to give him the love and stability he so deeply craves. He’s playful and full of joy, same time very much well-balanced and calm at home, making him a delight to be around. Whether it’s playing with his toys, going on fun walks, or simply enjoying a cuddle, LUKAS is always ready accompany his humans.
He’s great with other dogs, though he feels more at ease with calm, non-pushy companions. His warm and friendly nature also makes him good with older children, particularly those who are 8 years or older and understand how to be gentle. LUKAS hasn’t been tested with cats.
LUKAS would thrive in an active home where he can enjoy outdoor activities and lots of human interaction. His love for walks will make him the perfect companion for a family that enjoys spending time outdoors. He will be the happiest far from urban life, somewhere in countryside or not busy environment. He’s already neutered, housetrained, and ready for his next chapter – a loving forever home.
LUKAS is fully healthy, neutered, and has all core vaccines done. He is microchipped. All dogs arrive C.Brucella tested before their trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
