💔 Rescue Story:
Luna was welcomed into her former family six 7 ago, but her playful energy and growing size have become overwhelming for the very young children. Although gentle and affectionate, their fear has made life difficult. With heavy hearts, the family reached out to give her a better-suited chance – with someone who truly understands and appreciates large-breed youngsters. We were lucky to find an amazing foster for her, but she needs home, her forever home.

💙 More About Luna (Straight From Her Current Foster):
“Luna is a loving and fun girl. We’ve fallen in love with her – she’s so joyful and affectionate! Luna would really benefit from being with another dog who matches her size and energy level to play and snuggle with.”

She’s currently living in a foster home with two dogs, six cats, and children aged 9 and 11. She shows interest in the cats, but is respectful – “happy to be with them”. She’s learning to share toys and attention, as she came from an only-dog home – “she can get a little jealous, but she’s young and learning fast.”

“She is a very large breed and will need long walks and stimulating activities to keep her smart brain busy – and she is very smart! No signs of aggression at all, and completely house-trained.”

Luna walks nicely on the lead, doesn’t pull, and loves to explore new environments. She’s friendly with other dogs outdoors and tries to make new friends. Just keep in mind, due to her size and excitement, she’s best with other larger dogs.

“She genuinely thinks she’s a Chihuahua – she has no idea how big she is! Morning and evening zoomies are a big one!”
“She loves toys, socks 🤣, and absolutely adores cuddles. Her snoring is next level!”

She still has her cheeky puppy moments, so boundaries are a must – “she’s still a pup and might chew things left out.” She’s very trainable, “a quick learner,” and enjoys praise. She’s still learning to get in and out of the car – “but she’ll get there!”

Luna is crate-free and can be left for a couple of hours at a time, but always with other dogs around. She’s a girl who thrives on companionship and affection, and she loves to be part of the action.

🏡 Ideal Family:
Luna would do best with a confident, large-breed-savvy family who understands her needs – someone who will give her the structure, love, and play she deserves. A secure garden is a must, and she’d love a canine friend to wrestle and cuddle with – though she could be an only dog in a very engaged home.

“She thrives off praise and human interaction – she just wants to love and be loved.”
“She’s been amazing with my children – but we’re still working on not jumping up when excited.”
“She may be nervous around new people, but she warms up quickly with a gentle approach.”

Luna is a high-energy, high-love girl who will shine in the right hands. She’s full of charm, silliness, and affection – and she’s still growing into the incredible dog she’ll become. With time, patience, and the right family, she’ll give back more love than you can imagine.

“We’ve fallen in love with her, but want to keep helping more dogs. We know she will 1 million percent find the most amazing forever home – and we’ll feel grateful to have helped her on her way.” 💖

🩺 Health Information:
Luna is fully healthy. Not spayed yet (early age for large breed). Has all core vaccines done, microchipped.
