PETRYK’s story is nothing short of a miracle. One day, a volunteer was driving along the highway when, by pure chance, they stopped and noticed something moving in the dense undergrowth. There, hidden in the shadows, was PETRYK—a young, lonely boy, abandoned and fending for himself in the wild.
Despite his heartbreaking circumstances, PETRYK has blossomed into a gentle and loving companion, a true testament to his resilient spirit. With the care and kindness of volunteers, he has learned to trust again, showing how deeply he longs for a family to call his own.

PETRYK is a tender and intelligent soul, brimming with quiet affection. He may not rush to strangers immediately but very quickly he’ll warm up, allowing gentle pets and forming a connection. His thoughtful approach isn’t shyness but a sign of his intelligence—he observes before wholeheartedly embracing new friendships.
He loves people, especially children, and enjoys playful moments without being boisterous. While he adores companionship, he prefers smaller groups of dogs rather than overwhelming crowds. With cats, he’s calm and respectful, making him a fantastic addition to homes with other pets.
PETRYK is not only affectionate but also very well-mannered. He’s housetrained and loves exploring and running, despite a barely noticeable hip condition from birth. This condition doesn’t affect his mobility, and no medical intervention is needed—he runs and plays like any other dog, spreading joy wherever he goes. Health Information
PETRYK is fully healthy, neutered, has all core vaccines done, and is microchipped. He does have a minor congenital hip imperfection, a dislocation at birth. It’s not painful or limiting in any way, and no medical intervention is needed. He runs, plays, and enjoys life just like any other dog.
All dogs are C. Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
