Meet RAFE, a very loving and beautiful puppy boy, just over 6 months old. Expected to grow into a lower medium to medium-sized dog.
SIZE: Lower Medium/Medium (46 cm shoulder height/12 kilos, expected to grow 5-7 cm more)
SPAYED/NEUTERED: No, due to early age for male dog (Neuter agreement applies)

DOGS: Good with all dogs, prefers non-pushy ones
CATS: Tolerates cats
CHILDREN: Good with older children (due to puppy playful nature)
Rescue Story:
RAFE’s journey began in the most challenging of circumstances. Alongside his sister CASEY, he was found near a military camp close to the front line, only 6-7 weeks old and without their mother. It’s believed that locals, struggling to survive under harsh conditions, brought the puppies to the camp, hoping that the soldiers would provide them with food and safety. Despite the dire situation, RAFE and his sister made it through, and now, they’re looking for a loving home where they can finally feel secure and cherished.

I met RAFE during my recent trip to Ukraine in August. Me and my daughter visited one of the large foster places, and I can personally confirm how lovely, kind, and gentle RAFE is.
RAFE is a sweet and gentle soul who quickly wins hearts with his loving nature. Though he may be a little shy at first, he’s very trustful once he warms up to you. He is human-oriented and gets along well with other dogs, although is not comfortable around some large and pushy dogs as he has a slightly submissive nature. He currently lives with cats and tolerates them well. RAFE is also good with children, especially older ones who can handle his playful energy and occasional jumping.
RAFE is intelligent and quick to learn, already showing good behaviour and progressing with leash training. RAFE’s gentle, loving nature combined with his playful energy makes him the perfect companion for a family with children 8+ and another friendly dog, who can keep him company and help him build confidence and learn.
He’s active enough to join in on family adventures and cuddly enough to be your favourite lap dog. With a bit of continued training and lots of love, RAFE will blossom into the ideal family pet.
RAFE is fully healthy. Not neutered due to early age, recommended from 10 months old for proper bones and joints growth (neuter agreement applies). He has all core vaccines done and is microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
