SUMMER’s story is one of resilience and survival against the odds. Left behind at a deserted summer-house area with other abandoned dogs, surviving on scraps and the rare kindness of passersby. But her safety was tragically compromised when two homeless men took over one of the empty houses, and they began capturing stray dogs. SUMMER was caught, hung upside down on a tree, and prepared for slaughter. Her eyes filled with tears, her cries echoing in the cold winter air—until, miraculously, a passerby heard her and intervened just in time to save her life.
She’s been in a shelter for almost two years, her trust in humans kindness unshaken, waiting for a family who will cherish her.
