Betsy and Tessie are currently in foster care in Edinburgh, Scotland, live in a flat without private garen. This is what their foster says: “Both adjusted very quickly. They are very cheerful and will wake you up in the morning for cuddles. They are doing ok with small rodents in a cage – interested, but not attacking or barking.
Tessie is a gentle soul, she looks serious but becomes playful when she gets used to you. She likes soft toys, no interest in squeeky balls or pull ropes. Tessie loves cuddles and belly scratching. She wants a lot of attention and to be close to you. Tessie loves going for a walk and chasing butterflies. She looks quite like very mini labrador.”
Rescue Story:
TESSIE, along with her sisters ELLY and BETSY, were evacuated by courageous volunteers from the combat zones in February. Their mum, unfortunately, passed away after being heavily wounded by shrapnel. TESSIE and her sisters arrived infected with parvovirus, the most dangerous puppy disease. At just a few weeks old, volunteers fought for their lives for two weeks. Fortunately, they fully recovered and now have lifelong immunity against the disease. Despite her rough start in life, TESSIE’s gentle spirit and loving nature shine through.
Detailed Information:
In Ukraine TESSIE lived at a foster home with other dogs, cats, and kids, and she gets along with everyone. She loves cuddles and being near humans, showing a curious and smart nature. Playful and active, like all happy puppies, TESSIE is also quite calm for a puppy. She will benefit from having a decent garden for zoomies and another dog to play with in her new home. Raised with cats, TESSIE is absolutely comfortable with them, though she and her sisters sometimes find chasing cats to be an amusing game. Housetrained. Walks on a leash.
Adopting a puppy means understanding that they require ongoing training to become amazing pets. TESSIE’s future family should be prepared to invest time in her training, which she will reward by growing into the best family member.

TESSIE’s resilience and love for life make her the perfect addition to any family. Let’s find her the loving home she deserves, where she can finally feel safe and cared.
TESSIE is fully healthy. Not spayed due to early age (spay agreement applies). Has all core vaccines done, microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
