CARRIE’s early life was filled with neglect and loneliness. She was taken from a home of mentally ill person, where she was forgotten for days at a time, left to fend for herself with no care or affection. When she was rescued, she was a terrified little soul who didn’t trust humans. But love and patience worked wonders. After more than a year in rescue care, CARRIE has blossomed into a joyful and playful girl, eager to experience the warmth of a real home.

CARRIE has transformed from a fearful, withdrawn pup into a cheerful, playful little girl who loves treats, enjoys gentle play, and has a curious, endearing personality. She still needs time to build confidence in new situations, but with the right support, she will continue to flourish.
She is friendly with other dogs but would also be happy as the only pet, soaking up all the love. She has not been tested with cats. She is active but in a gentle, balanced way—playful when she feels safe but never overwhelming.
CARRIE may be shy when she first arrives, so her future family should give her the patience and reassurance she needs to settle. But once she trusts you, she will reward you with endless love and loyalty.
