Rescue Story:
FANTA’s story is one of shocking cruelty that reminds us of the depths of human callousness. We in the rescue community have witnessed many forms of cruelty, but the creativity of sadists never fails to astonish us. FANTA is one of the “kids from tar,” a group of five tiny puppies who were found covered in tar, helplessly stuck to each other and the ground by a motorway. The police noticed a figure behaving strangely by the road, and when approached, the person fled into the nearby forest. What they discovered next left them horrified—five small, crying puppies, their fur matted with thick tar, struggling desperately but unable to free themselves. With great care, the officers scooped them up, along with the grass they were stuck to, and brought them to safety. Despite the efforts of rescuers, two of FANTA’s siblings didn’t survive the ordeal. But FANTA, along with her brother Hudzik and sister Peppa, made it through.

FANTA is a modest and gentle girl who takes a bit of time to warm up to new people. She’s not overly shy, but she does watch carefully before deciding who to trust. Once she knows she’s safe, she blossoms into a playful and affectionate companion. FANTA loves long walks, playing with balls and sticks, and would be happiest in a home with another playful dog. She’s not comfortable around large or pushy dogs but gets along well with others her size. FANTA is spayed, housetrained, and currently learning to walk on a leash—she’s doing very well with it. Like all puppies, FANTA will need continued training to help her become the perfect home pet.
FANTA is looking for loving family who understands that she may need a little time to build trust. She will perfectly suit the home with another playful dog to help her feel secure and happy. With her gentle nature and love for play, Fanta will bring joy and warmth to any home lucky enough to have her.
Fanta is fully healthy. Spayed. Has all core vaccines done, microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
