🐾 Give A Safe Haven To War Dog from Ukraine 🐾
🚨 URGENT: Foster (or Foster-to-Adopt) Needed for TROY 🚨
🏠 WE STILL BELIEVE IN MIRACLES for TROY 💙—a gentle giant from war-torn Ukraine. 💙 His adoption fee has been reduced. He’s currently in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
Recently we faced a heartbreaking situation— TROY was required to go IMMEDIATELY. The foster where he was was no longer able to care for him due to his strength and recent reactivity to other dog. She had hoped to adopt him, but TROY is just too strong for her and makes her sad being reactive on other dogs. Unfortunately we were not able to find any emergency foster and he went to kennels, which previousy, when in Ukraine, nearly killed him, as he can’t cope in kennel enviroment.
We are looking for committed foster (or foster in a view to adopt), who will allow us time to find TROY proper forever home.
We are desperately looking for an experienced foster who understands large breeds and can confidently handle TROY on walks, guiding him when needed. We are praying for a compassionate, confident and committed foster to come forward and help this boy.

TROY is a true people’s dog—he loves human companionship, is calm, patient, and well-balanced. He’s housetrained, walks well on a lead, and has lived in both city flats and the countryside. In the right home, TROY will blossom into a devoted, loving family member.
However, TROY has recently become reactive on walks, particularly around some other dogs. TROY arrived to UK in the first days August and went to a trial, but unfortunately it didn’t work. This is what his family said:
“I’m sorry but I have to hand Troy back. He is reactive to black cars, horses, some dogs, gun shots on the television, also not keen on wind and rain. He’s the most beautiful dog but it’s a lot for me to deal with. My house is too small for a large dog who loves zoomies. He does not like being left. No sign of aggression at this point and responds to sit, stay and down the basics and is a quick learner. You can have food, treats and chews for him too. He is a gentle giant and with help will blossom into a fabulous pet but needs a large home. He is also great with my 14 year old granddaughter.”
TROY’s Journey:
TROY’s story is one of resilience, love, and loss. Before the war shattered his world, TROY had a family in Ukraine. But when his owners fled the country, he was left behind, forced to fend for himself on the streets. Despite the threats and danger, TROY survived, thanks to his gentle heart and unbreakable spirit.
A kind woman in Ukraine decided to adopt TROY, giving him the warmth and care he had longed for. For a brief time, he knew peace. But when war called her husband to the front lines, she could no longer manage TROY alongside her other animals. Heartbroken, she asked us to find him a new home in the UK.
In the UK, another family opened their hearts to him, but TROY was more than they could handle.
Now, TROY needs YOU.
He’s not just a dog; he’s a survivor with a heart full of love to give. TROY deserves a family who will cherish him, understand him, and give him the chance to shine. He needs someone with experience, patience, and the space for him to stretch his legs and his spirit.
TROY would do best in a loving home with a garden and with a family who enjoys the outdoors and can give him two good walks a day. He’s great with older children and thrives in a peaceful, structured environment.
Please, be the miracle TROY needs.
This beautiful soul has been through so much. He deserves to finally feel safe, loved, and at home. If you are the right person or family for TROY, don’t hesitate. Let’s give TROY the forever home he’s been waiting for.
Let’s change the world for TROY. 💙
