CHILDREN: Prefers older childrenDAYANA and her six siblings were rescued from certain death just before Christmas. Some soulless person threw out seven puppies, only a few weeks old, in the harsh wintertime, in a field close to a motorway, in a cardboard box under a bush. The puppies left the box and were roaming around. One got into the car lights of a kind person who drove by in the evening. After some searching, all seven crying puppies were found one by one. It was a real miracle that they survived, probably abandoned just a few hours before, as in freezing temperatures with no food, they were unlikely to survive through the night.

This is what DAYANA’s current foster in Ukraine says about her: “I call DAYANA ‘DEE DEE’ because she is an incredibly sweet and hilarious girl. It’s unbelievable how much energy and love could be in such a tiny body. She is very much human-oriented and happy to follow humans everywhere. She loves nothing more than being not just near but on you. DEE DEE adores kisses and sitting on laps. At the same time, she can be shy with new people at start, though eager to build trust fast.

Very small in size, she is very strong, able to jump 4-5 times her height just to reach a human for a kiss. Even if she is not mouthy, her jumping and enthusiastic affection suggest that she would only suit a home with older kids (8+). DEE DEE loves to play with other dogs and is good and gentle with all other puppies, has a peaceful nature, and can share her food and toys without issues. Not pushy, not bossy. This makes her a great fit for a home with another friendly dog. Not tested for cats.

DEE DEE is already housetrained and hasn’t had any accidents in the last few weeks, even at night. She loves walks in the garden and spends the whole day there. She sleeps well and isn’t an early bird, loving to sleep until 9 am. She is smart, easy to train, and food and treat-oriented. Like all puppies, DEE DEE will require time for further training to learn how to be a well-behaved pet.”

DAYANA’s (DEE DEE) ideal family should be ready to accept and return lots of love and ready for cuddles. Same time she will better suit an active family that will not leave her often alone and  have enough time to continue her training and socialisation

DAYANA is fully healthy. DAYANA is not spayed due to her early age; a spaying agreement applies. She has all core vaccines done, is microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
