HAYLEY’s Rescue Story
HAYLEY’s story began in a summerhouse cooperative, where she was born to a mother abandoned after the summer season. These summerhouses, built for warm months, are left empty as winter comes, and many pets are cruelly left behind to fend for themselves.
HAYLEY and her sister CHLOE were two such little survivors, braving the cold and hunger. Their only lifeline was an elderly man who lived in the area year-round. He shared scraps of food from his table, his heart breaking as neighbours threatened harm to the sisters. With tears in his eyes, he called for help, pleading for their rescue.
When they arrived at their foster home, HAYLEY was shy and wary, her trust in people shattered. Months of care and patience have helped her to heal, and now she’s ready to find her forever home—a place where she can finally feel safe and loved.
HAYLEY’s Personality
HAYLEY is a tender-hearted girl who adores the company of other dogs. She thrives with a canine friend who can show her the way and help her build confidence. While shy at first, she is playful in her own quiet way—carrying toys to her bed and finding joy in the simple act of leaning into her human for a cuddle.
She will need a calm, quiet environment where she can decompress and come out of her shell at her own pace. With patience, she will blossom into a soft, loving companion who adores her family. A garden and a friendly, non-pushy dog sibling are essential to help her settle and trust more quickly.

HAYLEY is fully healthy, spayed, and has all core vaccines done. She is microchipped, all dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
