SIZE: Small-medium (45 cm/8 kilos)
SPAYED/NEUTERED: Yes
CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Loving, trustful, cheerful, human-oriented
DOGS: Prefers female dogs
CATS: Tolerates
CHILDREN: Prefers older children

MAX was found with his two sisters, Aya and Adele, as strays on the streets. He went to foster care and has been there for a few months with other dogs, cats, and kids. Despite his rough start, MAX has shown resilience and a loving nature.

MAX is currently in foster care in the UK with kids and another male dog, but unfortunately, he doesn’t get along well with the other male dog. Generally, MAX really likes dogs and has been with other foster with many dogs, but a female dog would probably be a better match for him.

His foster family says:
MAX is a beautiful boy with so much love to give. He loves nothing more than snuggling up with you for fuss and loves to nuzzle his head into your neck. He will throw himself on his back for belly rubs and would happily lay there until you stop. He’s getting very good on a lead and will always stay by your side. He has picked up lots of basic commands, is a very fast learner, and eager to please. MAX isn’t a fan of being left alone, but with continued training and understanding that you’ll always come back, he’s improved a lot and will continue to do so. He is quite protective over his humans and needs work understanding that when you leave or are attending to something else, he doesn’t need to worry. I believe MAX would suit a household as either an only dog or with a calmer dog. He’s not fussed at all by cats and could happily live alongside them. He’s content with children, but slightly older would be best.”

MAX has an amazing temperament—very loving and trustful. He gets along well with other dogs, though he doesn’t allow them to interrupt his mealtime. He tolerates cats and loves kids but can jump when excited, so better will suit older kids. MAX will be a good match for an active family looking for a furry friend to join their outdoor adventures.

MAX has no known health issues. He was recently neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
