Meet TESSIE, a slender and elegant 11 months old , a little  Dingo looking girl. Located at Burton on Trent DE15

SPAYED/NEUTERED: No, as arrived being too young
CHARACTER HIGHLIGHTS: Playful, Active, Human-oriented
DOGS: Good with but better as the only dog or with large frindly one without guarding issues
CATS: Tolerates
CHILDREN: Better suit older children (8+)

TESSIE was found with her siblings and their abandoned mother in a hole in a field, half-covered by snow during frosty nights. They were just around one week old, and unfortunately, three puppies were found already dead, likely frozen to death. Only three survived, including TESSIE.

TESSIE is a joyful, active, and happy girl. Full of energy, but quickly calming down with a toy or favourite chew.

TESSIE is human-oriented, good with people of any age coming for fuss when called, loves kissing, happy to cuddle nearby, and following you around.

TESSIE is already in UK and that’s what her Foster says about her: ” I originally fostered Tosia now Tessie in June.She is such a beautiful dog I decided to adopt her, but the last 2 months has been really hard ,as the other dog I adopted doesn’t get on with her . They are both as bad as each other but because Tessie was the foster dog I feel she should be rehomed. One Minute they are cuddling together the next they are arguing over toys quite aggressively…it is only between those 2 and never the other 2 resident dogs or visiting dogs! It came to a head when they are arguing on me because they both wanted fussing,I have grandchildren and I can’t have them arguing on their knee!

Where do I start describing Tessie.. She is a beautiful looking dog who has sooo much love and affection to give.She is a quick learner and will sit on command.Recall needs some work and when we go to a secure field she is more interested in sniffing than coming for a treat . She isn’t food orientated but has soon got use to the cheese in the fridge and her toast (which she loves) in a morning. All the dogs are fed together with no issues.
She likes her walks and does pull slightly but will walk to heel for a bit until she gets too excited again.Obviously birds and squirrels are very tempting to her, she used to bark at them but this has stopped now !
I have resident cats which she is fine with and a goldfish that to Tess is like watching the tv.
Who ever ends up adopting her will have a loyal companion for life and I am absolutely gutted that the 2 rescues don’t get on. ”

TESSIE easily entertains herself with toys and enjoys zooming with toys around the garden. She loves soft squeaky toys and natural long-lasting chews like hooves.

TESSIE will suit a home as the only dog since she loves human company, but it’s essential to give her opportunities to meet, play and communicate with other dogs daily.  She will be also good living with other large/medium large friendly who is not obessive around toys or treats.

She sleeps well through the night and is house trained. TESSIE can be very jumpy, so she is better suited for a family with older children (8+).  Her love for human company and her playful, joyful nature will bring endless joy to any dog-loving household.

TESSIE is fully healthy. She has all core vaccines done, is microchipped. TESSIE is not spayed due to her early age; a spaying agreement applies. All dogs are C.Brucella
