🐶 MARINKA is a sweet and affectionate 1.5-year-old girl, very smallish-medium size, with a heart that beats only for humans. She’s been through unthinkable hardship, yet she remains full of love, hope, and joy.

🐶 MARINKA is currently at Foster with dovs abd cats and that’s what Foster say about her :” Cheeky Marinka (Meringue) loves other dogs. Happy to be around cats. Loves kids. Will climb, inside and out! Responds well to her name, especially Meringue! A little on the timid side so would be more suited to a quieter household with no small children as she tends to nibble fingers as they pass. She does also jump up, but we are working on this, and if it is ignored, she will stop. She is a little sweetheart. ”
🐾 Rescue Story:
MARINKA was found wandering the ruins of a half-abandoned war-torn town, desperately searching for food, shelter, and safety. Thin, battered, and exhausted, she had been surviving alone—except for one other dog near her, who tragically didn’t make it. Killed and left lifeless in the street, it’s heartbreaking to think that she may have been MARINKA’s sister. 💔
But MARINKA survived. She held on, fighting for a future she didn’t even know was possible. Now, she is safe—but what she truly needs is a family to love her and show her that the world is kind.
🐾 Personality & Ideal Home:
🐶 MARINKA is a very playful, warm and affectionate little girl who has an awful lot of love to give . She would be best suited to someone who has some experience of dogs and can create a safe space, so she can in time learn to trust strangers . Marinka needs care and commitment and with this be a lovely and loyal companion. 💖🐾🏠
🐶 MARINKA is the ultimate cuddle bug. She trembles with happiness when she sees people, soaking up affection as if making up for lost time. But needs time to get used to new people.
🐶 MARINKA is highly intelligent and eager to learn. MARINKA picks up commands quickly, listens beautifully, and is a joy to train.
🐶 Her favourite toy? A simple old sock! While other dogs chase balls, MARINKA joyfully search through bedding to find hidden socks, always ready for a game.
🐶 MARINKA loves to play but is not overly energetic. MARINKA enjoys a playtime with other dogs but also knows how to settle and relax indoors.
🐶 MARINKA is a perfect match for any loving home. She would thrive in a family environment, with kids or without, as long as she gets plenty of love and attention.

MARINKA is fully healthy. She is spayed, has all core vaccines done, and is microchipped. All dogs are C. Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
