But Maya had a gentle, resilient spirit that kept her going. Rescuers took her to safety, and her loving nature shone through even after such a tragic beginning. Now, she’s ready to leave her past behind and find a family who will adore her as much as she adores them.

Maya is a soft, tender, and incredibly affectionate girl. She loves people and gently approaches everyone, gazing up with her soulful eyes, longing for love and attention. While she’s playful and joyful, she has a beautifully calm and balanced nature for her age.
Though she loves other dogs, she’s not good at standing up for herself and tends to be pushed aside by more dominant dogs. She would thrive as an only dog or with a smaller, gentle companion who can be her friend without making her feel insecure.
Maya is not just a pretty face; she’s wonderfully polite and well-behaved indoors, already housetrained and happy to snuggle up close. She’s great with children and wonderfully tolerant with cats.
