Rescue Story:
๐Ÿ’” A rather strange and sad tale โ€“ Scout was reportedly rescued from an act of cruelty. A woman told us she saved him from a man who intended to drown him. But although she saved his life, she couldnโ€™t keep him. Her dog was not accepting him. She found him a home but after 1 night they said he is too energetic for them and there 3 years old daughter scared of him. ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ข She was calling all Rescue places and nobody could help ๐Ÿ’”. She was so desperate and so grateful when our Foster agreed to take him on.
He was passed on again, landing in an emergency foster who kindly stepped in. Now Scout needs a stable place wgere he will be loved๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ  His first night went well he slwpt in a crate with door opened. Had a walk and enjoyed his breakfast, will be updating on his progress.

Detailed Information:
๐Ÿถ Scout is very much a typical young Lab cross โ€“ friendly, excitable, loves people, and adores a good game of fetch. His whole body wags when he sees other dogs, and heโ€™s keen to make friends.

๐Ÿถ He is used to living indoors. On the lead, heโ€™s surprisingly good โ€“ pulls but manageable, just enthusiasm for life. He eats dry biscuits but would no doubt enjoy a tastier menu.

๐Ÿถ Scout does not like being shouted at or overwhelmed โ€“ heโ€™s still learning how to be confident and secure, and a calm, consistent routine will help him flourish. At this stage, heโ€™s better suited to a home without very young children, just to ensure he feels relaxed and safe.

๐Ÿ’™ We don’t recommend pairing male dogsย  to prevent potential competition, even if it hasnโ€™t been an issue in the past. Prevention is always better.

Ideal Family:
๐Ÿถ Scout needs a loving, calm household โ€“ ideally with access to a secure garden, and people home more often than not. Heโ€™d love to play, explore, and learn new things in a safe and positive environment. A dog-savvy family with older children or a kind female dog companion would be ideal.

๐Ÿ’™ Scout is young, impressionable, and full of hope. With the right people by his side, heโ€™ll blossom into a loyal, happy companion. Heโ€™s not had the easiest start, but heโ€™s been gentle through it all โ€“ eager for love, eager to belong. Could you be the calm voice and steady hand that gives him that second chance? ๐Ÿ’™

Health Information:
๐Ÿถ Scout is currently healthy but not yet neutered. He will be neutered once assessed and settled in foster. Vaccination and microchipping will also be arranged.
