๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿถ SHUBA โ€“ A Quiet Fluffy Gentleman Longing for Peace ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ’™

Shuba is a small, fluffy lad with the calm, watchful eyes of someone who has seen too much and still chooses to love. Vet said he is around 5,5 years old, but volunteers think he might be younger, even around 3, as he has very good white teeth. With his quiet presence, gentle trust in people, and polite, undemanding nature, Shuba is a little soul who wants only a peaceful corner in someoneโ€™s heart.

๐Ÿ“ฆ He is ready to come on the Happy Doggy Bus to the UK, but needs a place where he can land softly โ€“ a kind foster or loving home.

๐Ÿ’” Rescue Story:
Shuba’s story is one far too familiar in todayโ€™s Ukraine. Once someoneโ€™s house dog โ€“ you can just feel it in the way he behaves โ€“ he was tossed aside and left to survive alone. He had his back leg was broken a while ago (possibly been hit by a car at some point), but with no vet care at the time, it healed on its own. The bone isnโ€™t perfect visually, but it doesnโ€™t stop him from walking and trotting comfortably, with no pain and feeling happy. But when stands rise it a bit over the ground with caution.

Before he was rescued by volunteers, he had been picked up by Lvivโ€™s city-run sterilisation centre, where dogs found on streets are neutered, treated and then returned to the streets if no one adopts them in 3 weeks. Shuba was one of those dogs. No one came. So he went back.
By then, winter was looming. He was spotted roaming near a shop, sleeping on bare concrete, relying on scraps of kindness from strangers to keep going.
When volunteers finally met him, curled up alone outside the shop, they simply couldnโ€™t walk away. He was scooped up, and now โ€“ after everything โ€“ he is ready for a home where love isnโ€™t temporary.

๐Ÿพ Detailed Information:
Shuba is a calm, independent soul who enjoys peace and company in equal measure. He doesnโ€™t demand attention but deeply appreciates affection โ€“ leaning in gently when someone strokes him, always with a grateful gaze.

Heโ€™s housetrained, quiet in the home, and wonderfully low-maintenance. He gets along with other dogs, coexists peacefully with cats, and is lovely with calm, older children โ€“ although he prefers not to be tugged or handled too roughly (no pulling the tail or collar, please!). He prefers his dignity.

This sweet boy is clever, gentle, and incredibly polite. Heโ€™s not one for long energetic walks โ€“ he much prefers a gentle potter and a good lounge on a soft bed near his person. Heโ€™s not the sort to race and tumble at the dog park โ€“ rather, a quiet stroll, a treat or two, and a comfy spot to snooze.

๐Ÿก Ideal Family:
Shuba would be the perfect match for a calm, loving household โ€“ perhaps a retired couple or quiet individual who enjoys a slower pace of life. A home without too much noise or bustle, where walks are leisurely and snuggles are offered freely. Heโ€™d do well as an only dog or alongside other quiet, well-mannered pets. A secure garden for fresh air would be a bonus, heโ€™s not one to need endless adventures โ€“ heโ€™s had enough of those.

๐Ÿ’– Shuba has survived hardships with grace. He still believes in people, still seeks out kindness, still wags his tail softly when spoken to. This dear little fluffball is not looking for grand gestures โ€“ just a promise that this time, itโ€™s forever.

If you believe a home should be filled with warmth, softness, and quiet companionship, Shuba is ready to join you.

๐Ÿฉบ Health Information:
Shuba is healthy. Neutered. Has all core vaccines done, microchipped. Note: He has an old injury to one back leg โ€“ fully healed and does not affect his daily life, but may be visible when he stands or sometimes step on it with caution . All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners will receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
