❤🐶 TIGGY (was RUTA) – The Bright Girl With So Much Love to Give 🐶❤
🐶 TIGGY (originally known as RUTA) is 11 months old beautiful and intelligent girl, , who arrived to the UK in January 2025 from Ukraine. Despite surviving her rough start in life, she’s now facing a second round of uncertainty—unfortunately she doesn’t get along with resident dog, though earlier, in Ukraine lived with other dogs without any issues. Tiggy is searching for a new forever home where she can be the only dog and finally feel safe and understood. She’s full of potential and has a heart ready to love and learn.

🐶 Tiggy is currently at Foster and that’s what Foster say about her: ” Tiggy is settling well, she is a lovely fun girl who really runs like a whippet. She is gradually calming down but is a bit nervy. She is good around other dogs on a walk as long as she doesnt get over excited, she is still a puppy so needs to learn how to calm down. She is asking when to go out at night and she is calm in the car.She is fun loving and a power pack so needs some training to help her fit in.”
💔 Rescue Story
🐶 TIGGY was the sole survivor of her litter, born to abandoned dog in Ukraine. Her mother fought to keep her safe, and eventually Tiggy was rescued and brought to safety. She grew into a bright, cheerful, and loving pup. Adopted in January and renamed Tiggy, she has been learning and growing with a kind family—yet sadly, her strong desire for constant attention and her behaviour toward the resident dog mean she now needs a new start.
💖 More About Tiggy
🐶 Tiggy is affectionate and clever. She enjoys cuddles, attention, and learning. She’s had training and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and leave. Her recall is improving in the garden, and she walks well on a lead when focused. She’s lovely in public places like cafés and is well-behaved overnight.
However, Tiggy is still a work in progress. Her energy is high, and she needs stimulation to avoid boredom. Left alone too long, she’ll chew or bark. She’s very food-motivated and will counter-surf or raid unattended snacks.
The biggest challenge has been her behaviour toward the resident dog—constantly trying to dominate or chase him, which makes peaceful cohabitation impossible.
🏡 Ideal Home
🐶 Tiggy’s perfect family will be dog-savvy—ideally with German Shepherd or -intelligence breed experience—and can continue her training and provide structured enrichment. She might be the best as the only dog and live in a child-free household (14+ only). A secure garden is important.
🐶 Tiggy has endless potential—she’s joyful, loving, and incredibly loyal once she trusts you. All she needs is someone willing to meet her where she is and help her become the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
🩺 Health Information
🐶 Tiggy is fully healthy. Vaccinated, microchipped, and had her first season in April. Spaying will be arranged. All dogs are C.Brucella tested before the trip (owners receive a licensed laboratory test certificate).
